BEST SUMMER TREKS IN NEPAL

Have you ever gone summer trekking in Nepal? Trekking in the summer, on the other hand, is a lot of fun. You won’t be disappointed because Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, and historical insights always have something new to offer you.

Nepal Hiking Team has compiled a list of the top 5 summer treks in Nepal to help you make the most of your Nepal vacation, especially during the summer.

1.  Everest Base Camp Trek

Summer is a good time to go to Base Camp of Mount Everest. The summer beauty in the Everest region reaches new heights. You’d have no idea this rocky landscape could become so lush unless you see it for yourself. And you’ll have to make the trek in the summer to see this sight, which is comparable to nature’s magic. The Everest region is significantly less impacted by the monsoon because it is united with the Trans Himalayan region. The trails aren’t the driest, but they’re still manageable. If you imagine a soggy, muddy track, you’re completely wrong. However, don’t expect gleaming peaks to stare at you the entire time. However, as the cloud lifts, the mountains will reveal themselves to you in a way you’ve never seen before.

2.  Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek provides numerous opportunities to be surrounded by spectacular snow-capped mountains. Extremely cold and bad weather conditions are common in the Annapurna region’s highest elevations. The average temperature on clear days throughout the summer season (June to Mid-September) is 20–25 degrees Celsius. In the lower altitudes, it is substantially warmer. It is, however, bearable when you are about to go on a journey to the base camps of towering peaks. As a result, a summer journey to Annapurna Base Camp is also doable.

3.  Upper Mustang Trek

Trekking Upper Mustang in the summer is a great idea. While some may believe that it rains a lot in the summer, this is not the case. However, due to the rain shadow area, there is no rainfall during the summer. One of the finest times to go on an Upper Mustang trip is during the summer. The days are lengthening and the sky is becoming clearer. The temperature in Mustang throughout the summer fluctuates from 13 to 20 degrees, making it perfect for trekking.

4.  Rara Lake Trek

Rara Lake is located in the Rara National Park, which is considered one of Nepal’s most beautiful and scenic parks. It covers an area of 106 square kilometers. Rara Lake is a very well tourist site in western Nepal, and it is by far the most popular. The lake is bordered by snow-capped peaks and densely forested hills. Rara Lake is Nepal’s highest lake and is affectionately referred to as the “Queen of Lakes” by locals. Summer is the best time to visit Rara Lake. The weather is moderate at this time of year, the rhododendrons are flowering everywhere, brightening the mountain pathways, the sky is clear, and the lake is a brilliant blue, making for ideal trekking weather.

5.  Upper Dolpo Trek

Dolpo is situated on the Tibetan plateau, bordering the Nepalese Himalaya. It is strongly related to Tibet culturally, but in terms of geography, it has characteristics of both. It has a Himalayan aspect due to the steeply glaciated peaks, but the lonely hills recall you of Tibet. The Trans Himalayas limit this area’s topographical design, which is similar to Upper Mustang’s. The area is also known for being a rain shadow zone. As a result, it is great for summer trips or travels in Nepal during the monsoon season.

6.  Nar Phu Valley Trek

The Nar Phu Valley Trek is located in the Manang District’s most remote area, and entry is only authorized with the purchase of a special permit. Ancient Buddhist religious heritages and stunning vistas of the Annapurna Range are the main attractions on this hike. It is a relatively new walk with a small number of participants. Because of its high height and remote Tibetan settlements composed primarily of stone, the Nar Phu Valley Trek is suitable for summer treks in Nepal. Adventurers looking for a one-of-a-kind trekking experience will benefit from it as well.

So far, Nepal Hiking Team has run more than 10 summer trek packages. All of these packages, as well as their itineraries, have been carefully planned to ensure that our clients receive the finest possible service.
